New Raptor Owner in SoCal (San Clemente)

Hey there fellow Raptor owners!

I just picked up a 2019 Raptor on Saturday. I’m looking forward to modifying it and talking shop with all of you. Im an active member of theMalibucrew.com, which is a forum for Malibu boats, and looking forward to contributing equally here. I have the same user name in case there are fellow members on this forum.

I caught the Ford Truck bug when I bought my 2017 F-250 Platinum almost two years ago. By far it has been the best truck I have ever owned. I was always a GM guy up until that point. I still have the F250 and need to sell it before my wife kills me, haha!

anyway, a little about my Raptor.
Color: Black
Packages: 802A, Technology Packard
Options: Carbon Fiber Interior, twin panel moon roof, tailgate step, tail gate plaque, forged wheels, heated rear seats.

Im looking forward to hitting the trails!

I bought from Ken Grody in Carlsbad. They had over 20 in stock So they gave me a solid deal. Bummer to hear about yours in the shop. Mine will be going in soon as there are a few items that need to be addressed from delivery. Both are cosmetic thank goodness.

Bummer to hear about your IWE problems. Is that common on raptors? My F250 was problem free.

Nice! Congrats and if you are in socal I go out to trails all the time around nor and so cal. I belong to the ROC (raddrives.com) and the socal trail buds group on fb (can also find roc (raptor offroad community) on fb as well. Hope to see you out on the trails!

Welcome, looks like you need some rubber mats in there ASAP!

I had IWE issues also (on 2017 w/ 45K miles) and didn't know until I got stuck in the mud and only the back wheels were spinning. If it happens to you, make sure the mechanic checks the vacuum hold and not just the hubs. Otherwise you'll end up with a weak vacuum and grinding on new hubs again anyway.
