Welcome to FRF. Is there any mods done to the truck when you got it or pretty much stock other than the window deflectors?

Hey all,

Picked up my 2012 Supercrew over the 4th of July weekend!...

Sounds like a great way to celebrate the holiday, WareWolf! I'm the Ford Service rep on this forum. Welcome! We're glad to have you here. :)

It's all stock other than the window deflectors (on the truck when I got it) and a spray on bed-liner I'm 99% sure didn't come from Ford.

Came with most of the bells and whistles as I can tell from the original sticker:

  • Preferred Equipment Package 517A
  • 36 gallon tank
  • Luxury Package
  • Power Moonroof
  • Sony Navigation Radio
  • Front and Rear Camera System

I've got a few small things for it I'll mess with this weekend as I have time:

  • AVS Seemless window deflectors (do not like the ones it has)
  • AVS aeroskin hood shield
  • OEM bed extender
  • Dee Zee tailgate assist
  • Vortex Mud Guards (probably hold for a while before adding)
  • Tribal Wolf Vinyl decals for hood and rear windows

Future Items:

  • Revolver X2
  • Bakbox 2
  • Weathertech Digital floor mats (unsure since stock seem good)
  • Lightbar / Headache Rack

I want a rack that matches the profile / geometry of the truck, and works with the Revolver X2. I've gotten a few idea's off here already for things that might fit the bill. WSI with the custom side plates and flip up light have the look I believe I want, but I'm still doing my homework.

Wow! About 4 hours in roughly 90 degree sun working that glue and foam from the original visors! Totally worth it though. The new AVS look like they were designed to be there from the factory!

Bed extender should be in tomorrow!

Look at the PDP mud flaps over the Vortex
The WSI lightbars doesn't quite work the best with the Roll-X so might not with V2. It hits it and won't roll up all the way unless you flatten it then once past you have to pick it up some and roll up, kinda a pain. Plus already told you of quality issues with WSI.
Also should consider the reflector deletes or wrap the reflectors to rid of the orange
