ok so my black ‘18 raptor is arriving tomorrow. I think right now I’m just going to Tint, ceramic pro, bed cover and antenna. Can anyone give me their advice/tips on these mods? Which brand to go with, which is the best...thanks!!

I’m suppose to get mine back tomorrow from having ceramic put on it and will let you know my thoughts. Mine is white so not sure if it will look as nice as what I have heard black does. I also did the XPEL film over the front and mirrors to help with rock chips. If you do the XPEL get whoever is doing it to custom cut the hood. The kit XPEL makes drops down on the sides exposing a couple inches of the corner head light pockets.

Just picked up a 2018 Magnetic SCREW a month ago. I’ve done:
  • Line-X bed liner (came out great)
  • Undercover LX hard tonneau (paint matching - love the look)
  • Tinted front windows 25% to match rears (matches really well and makes the cab cooler)
  • Rydonair 13” antenna (looks great - can’t really tell you much about performance)
  • Added Ford bed extender (nice for managing small items in bed)
  • ProClip iPhone holder (best phone mount I’ve ever had)
Taking it in for ceramic pro next week.

Planning to add Pedal Commander, Husky floor mats and running board chrome inserts next. Looking at running board and updating the license plate lights in the future.

Congratulations on your new rap and have fun driving it and personalizing.

Ford oil change recommendation is 10k miles; apparently the filter they use and the oil they use is diffetent from the normal recommended. Any chance an early change and use of full synthetic will hinder break-in ?

yeah...do not do a 1,000 mile oil change. But I would not go 10k either for the 1st one.

The last 20 years of car ownership have been a 5k oil change with Mobil1 full synthetic, then follow manufacturers schedule (usually 10k) there after. I have not had an engine oil problem EVER! I keep most of my cars well past 100k miles.

Each to his own. I like to do oil and transmission at 1000. Diffs and transfer case around 5-10k.
