I've done fairly complex skinning on my GT4, vacuum sealing is the best method however it isn't necessary. The trick is to prep the part and put an initial layer of epoxy between the part and carbon, but do not apply until the epoxy has cured for an hour or so (you want it sticky). The additional layers are mainly cosmetic after that. Use a spray bottle with acetone to remove the bubbles within the epoxy
