Sweet. Just ordered a set of the hood mounts, but for a pair of amber s2s. Should look sweet!

First of they look great once installed. I really like how low they are to the hood.

The brackets are well made, but really have a few issues that should be addressed.

First, having 2 washers as spacers that need to go between the bracket and the hood hinge is a horrible design flaw. Now maybe in a shop with a pile of guys to install this ends up being ok. But trying to line up the bracket, 2 washers, and the hood hinge is very difficult. On one side (depending if you are left or right handed) will prob go reasonably easy. But the other will be very challenging. There should be a properly sized and machined spacer. Ideally already mounted on the bracket. I get that may not be perfect as there need to be some float to get the hood lined back up.

Also. If there were a cut out on the angle side (with the spacer attached) you could install with out having to completely remove both hinge bolts and having the hood (and hinge bracket) moving around so much. I would have gladly spent an extra $20 or so to have a much simpler and faster install.

Anyway. In the end I got them all installed and everything aligned back up. They look great!!
