Don't fool myself, this is coming from someone that lives in Alabama. Come on guy u think I'm some young kid that doesn't know much bout off road when all u guys up there just drive through mud pits and not like our deserts where I have plaster city, superstition and ocotillo wells. Come out to Cali and I'll show u how we do it out here.

I just said you don't own a Raptor because you don't own a Raptor. When you sell that truck if you tell the buyer that it's a Raptor, that will constitute fraudulent misrepresentation of the vehicle. A crime. You don't own a Raptor.

I didn't say anything personal about you, so you don't have call to respond personally.

I think this is interesting! It's like a rough draft of what to expect in 2016's rumored Raptors. The MPGs resulting from a retrofitted ecoboost + raptor bits answers a lot of what-ifs at the gas pump, and apples/oranges comparisons between the 6.2L and alleged high-output/low-cost motors. This little frankenstein's monster can provide the forum with unique input. I say welcome! I'm out in Palmdale.

Ya I think the same as well. My mom got her self a 2012 raptor when they came out and I was saying that it be bad ass if they came out with a eco boost raptor but hasn't happen until SDHQ came out with there eco raptor. they used a raptor frame and swap everything from a eco boost over when that's just a waste of money when the raptor upper and lower arms and shocks bolt right on.

Welcome, that's more of a Raptor than half the trucks here (which have been so far modified that part that indicates that they're "Raptors" is the VIN number). All the parts on your truck came from a Raptor that's no longer really a Raptor.

Enjoy and rest assured that 99% of the info on this site is applicable to your truck.

Welcome! I think its a pretty sweet build and the eco boost makes it very interesting. I don't have a whole bunch of knowledge on the eco, but isnt there some tuning and mild bolt on's to pump up the power?(Not that it needs it, more from a curiosity standpoint.)

Good looking truck..who cares if the vin# doesn't represent a raptor... He has raptor parts and I'm sure he's looking into other options and raptor upgrades..what better place to get opinions, feed back and ideas than a raptor forum...that's what forums are for right...passing information and learning new things....give it a break he's into off-roading and owns a ford!

I go out to Palm Springs every year and rent a house with two other couples...love it out there...always wish I would be able to get my truck out there and do the run to Vegas that goes through Victorville.

Thanks bud and everyone else with the positive feed backs. I plan on doing much more to my truck but that would be later after I'm completely done with my pre runner. As of now I'll be ordering gears for it and possibly 3.0 foxs.

Ya I'm originally from imperial valley born and raised dezert rat haha. That run does sound awesome to do and I've been wanting to do it as well. Hopefully I can do run with some of u members
