Greetings Gentlefolk,

I've just joined and am looking forward to reading comments and learning more about the Raptors. Perhaps we'll even come up with a few questions before we add a Raptor to the collection of Fords on this farm.

And now you know that we do not yet own a Raptor. But it's at the top of a short list of candidates to replace my wife's Taurus. I'd love to have one, but I've got a perfectly good Excursion, with only 275k miles, that serves my business needs better at this time. (We have a hot air balloon business, and need to haul 6-8 people, plus pull a large trailer.) Her Taurus needs to be retired, and my logic is that if I get her what I'd want to drive when I don't need the X, then I'll be driving her around in a Raptor. It's the old "kill two birds with one stone" logic.

So, I hope you don't mind me sitting up here in the rafters, just watching and learning from the things that all of you share on this site.

Gentle breezes,
Martin

Welcome to the forum. Always good to see another Okie. Where in OK are you? I don't have a Raptor yet either. It's on order though. Hoping the production holdup related to the lack of paint pigment supply lifts sooner rather than later so they'll start building Tuxedo Black Raptors again.

Welcome to the site. I think you will be happy and your wife will be happy too. When I came home with my Raptor my wife liked it so much she said we should get one for her and having matching vehicles.

A mans got to know his limitations,,, but thats how much chicks dig these trucks.

WELCOME!
No need to own a Raptor to be a member, just a Raptor Enthusiast.
Please feel free to ask as many questions as you would like, that's what were here for to answer them.
A Raptor would be a perfect fit for your business as I'm sure you need to drive through some interesting terrain to get to your Balloons.

Hey Martin, welcome aboard. You're not the first guy on here to get strategic on the wife in order to get a Raptor in the garage. :)
