Hi guys, I'm Mark from the UK but I live out in Qatar! Today I'll be collecting a nice blue 6 months old Super Crew Raptor with all the options! CANT WAIT!!! Will post pictures in a few hours when I go collect it.
I've wanted one of these things for ages, infact I went to the local dealer here in Qatar and they refused to let me order a Raptor from them saying I could only have what came off the ship and that I wasn't allowed to spec one myself...at the time I told them to get lost and bought a nice C6 Z06 which I used to autocross in.
Time went on and I always ached for a Raptor when I saw one, infact especially when I pulled up next to one in my Z06 and saw the wheelarch was as high as my roof!
I eventually sold the Z06 for a Race Car and an Engagement Ring which saw me win the 2014 Qatar Touring Car Championship in my rookie season and also win a gorgeous lady!..anyway I took an Audi A5 for a while but quickly got bored of it having no personality, so I sold it and started Raptor hunting...
I've done the research and learnt about frame bending, perch mods and the differences between each year, the seat wear and steering wheel wear issues (really bad over here) and eventually I saw this beauty and realised it was a friend of a friends car and it had been treated amazingly and babied for the 6,000miles he had it.
Like I say, once I collect it and once I stop doing donuts in the desert I'll add some propper pictures..in the mean time here it is from the dealer website...
