What's up raptors!!! I have a few ?? For you guys ... So first I have a 2014 supercrew black raptor with the skid plate, fenders and bumper and grill all painted to match .. Roush exhaust , k&n filter, led bars and cubes in the bumper and behind the grill , my truck also had a 2 inch ready leveling kit ... So first question is wheels ... So most of the stuff I read on y'all forum is 20s r a no go for off roading .. Which is ok for me because this truck is my long trip / weekend vehicle as I drive a work truck thru the week... I also have dirt bikes, side by sides for off roading so taking this truck off roading will only happen during hunting season where I part by truck n the field and unload a Atv to get me to where I need to go ... So I with a 2 leveling kit and stock perch could I run 20s and 37s because soon I think I want to put a 4 inch fabtech but not 100% sure about the lift

Welcome to the mayhem!!!

Do you own one of these?

I have a feeling you're going to need one if you keep talking about lift kits around here. The Raptor is not supposed to be lifted. It's kinda like cussing and farting in church around here.

Lose the 20's. You can go 37's with a little work and planning. There are a ton of threads about how to do it. Up at the top of the page, there is a red button called 'Search'. Hit that and type in "fitting 37" tires". Or you can use google and click on the Ford Raptor Forum link from there.

PM me if you have any questions and we can help you get to where you want to be without using a lift kit......

Welcome to the place. I would not put 37s on a raptor that has a lift kit, no matter what the jobbers tell you. Delete the lift kit and go to mid perch, from there it is simple to go to 37s. Lots of help here if you need it.

I won't say much other than 37's on 17 or 18" will get a lot more respect with the off-road community than 20's. If your concerned about clearance look into ko2 37's and there is a lot of threads about fitting them if you do off road.

Thanks for all the help so far , so I already have the leveling kit installed (2inch ready lift billet aluminum ) and I don't think it can come off unless they replace the struts because they had to cut the bolts to install it .. And around here there aren't that many raptors or ppl who know how to work on them.. The local ford store didn't know how to adjust the supension

The local Ford guys not knowing how to adjust the shocks isn't surprising. Do a little research as the removal of the lift kit isn't going to be that big of a deal. The bolts can be replaced. These are not standard 'struts' like in other vehicles.

Search for 'setting shocks to mid-perch' and you will find a lot of information. How many miles are on the truck?

Have you inspected the shocks to see if there are any signs of leaking?

Remember if you change the ride height at any time, you will need to have an alignment performed. When you remove the lift kit, you may want to consider setting the front shocks to mid-perch to allow for clearance. That, too, will require an alignment.

Good luck, and feel free to reach out anytime with any questions you may have.
