Kboss, I would prefer a SCAB however that won't be the deal breaker to be honest. Remaining open minded about that and the colour. Where are you based??

I'm located in Pennsylvania, US. I'm assuming you are trying to export one from the US?

I've been looking at the option of importing from the US however the 5% import tax and the reluctance of the stealerships here proving warranty here in qatar have put me off.

There are plenty on the roads here given the wealth of the locals. Even the security forces have been using them recently. They look bad 50 Cal. mounted in the back!!

The dealers have legit gulf spec trucks and the only difference seems to be the interior specification and toys on offer is limited. They retail at approx $68k from them. I was at the dealers last week and he had about 30 I'm stock, various colours in both the SCAB and SCREW. Just can afford that $$$!!

There are some garages selling imported trucks for about $55k however the warranty issues prevail with that...

There was a 2012 blue SCAB, gulf spec with 20k miles for $46k however that sold and not sure how good that compares with used values in the US?

The Arabs don't tend to treat there cars well and I don't want an abused truck... I think patience will be my friend on this purchase!

Moving from a cherokee SRT8 which was temperamental to say the least, I'm a little cautious.

Is there a general consensus that the Raptors are solid with regards to reliability on the forum or do they have their fair share of warranty issues etc? Might change my mind on the import route...

Thanks for the feedback!

From what I have seen, there doesn't seem to be too many warranty issues. I am still waiting for my truck so I cannot speak from personal experience.

As far as used values, the best price I've seen so far locally was a 2010 SCAB with ~44k miles for $38,000. There is also a 2013 loaded SCREW near me with ~14k miles and they are asking $53,000.
