Howdy Everyone. I’m a new member looking on some feedback on your experiences with tonneau covers. Please tell me what ones you like, don’t like, how they fit how they look etc. Thanks

Welcome. Check out the Vendor tab and you'll see who sells what. Plus they will post here on your thread.

I’m running the Lomax and is water tight, super flush fitting, folds open so you can use 3/4 of the bed open or removes in 2 minutes and goes back on as easy. Only weighs 50lbs and is all aluminum construction. Matte finish too. Can buy from one of the many vendors here for well under $1000.00 Probably more like $800.00 give or take. Just my take.

Good luck

Welcome to the group and congrats on your truck!

For starters, what type of cover do you think you'd like to go with? Folding, rolling, retractable, or one-piece?

Do you need extra storage on top of your bed for crossbars or racks?

Tons of options out there, but figuring out which style you like is first. Then it comes down to build quality, brand, features, and price.

We carry all the major brands here at Apollo Optics and we'd be glad to help get you setup!

I've used the same type on 3 trucks now. Undercover ridgelander. It takes a few tries to get it completely rainproof, but does stop even severe rain once you get it seated right.
And it holds 5 mountain bikes or 3 bikes and 3 whitewater kayaks with no issues, all with me standing on it.

Lots of good choices out there though depending on what you are looking for. I'd have probably gone rolling or folding if I didn't need to haul stuff on trips so often.

I’m looking at the Diamondback primarily as security is the most important factor for me. I’m not concerned about needing full access to the bed often. The only thing I’ll be carrying regularly is my bike, I don’t know if it will fit under a cover. I’m planning on buying a 1UP hitch rack for two bikes for when the wife is with me.
