Where is the best place to find a good bed cover for less than $500. I've looked online at obvious places and they are all $800 +. I'd like to have a low profile, doesn't have to be a solid cover, soft is okay. Looking for vendors with the best deals. I'm all about supporting the vendors who support this site as well.

You won't find a new one that's worth a crap for less than that. Maybe look for a pre-owned one - get way better for way less......

JMccown,
I have a BAK Roll-X. I love it. Deal with Morrie at Truckmods.com; he's a vendor here and will stand by you if any problems arise.
And his prices will beat any you find elsewhere. My new Roll-X was WAY below any advertised price. Indeed when I went to order, and mentioned the FordRaptorForum.com the price took an additional drop...this just days after BAK had announced a $50.00 increase in pricing....
Search the site here, many opinions; decide what you want, look for the best price you can find...then go to Morrie...I bet he'll beat it!

Have Backflip F1. Love it. Great component quality, especially rubber. Very low profile, from the side, it's hard to tell it's even there, which is what I was going for. Won't support alot (>150lbs) of weight unless it's folded. Very little leakage, but unless you go with a fiberglass cover that goes over the bed-sides, they all will leak some. Fold it up and only lose like 4" of bed length and doesn't touch cab when folded up. Easy to remove and install. No issues. One of those guys -------------> can help no doubt. No relation to BAK, I don't owe them squat....just happy customer.

Bakflips seem to be a popular choice on this forum. I have a Black Maxx Extang soft cover on my Raptor and cost around $200-250. Nothing but good things to say about it...very sturdy and can stand on the rails if need be...not that I need to. Have had all soft covers from Extang on my 05' FX4, 01' Ram, and 97' Ram. If price under $500 is your key, I recommend them as they have all stood up and Ive never had to replace them.
