Hey all!
I've just picked up my first truck! It's 2011 Super Crew in Oxford White - US spec. It was imported to Dubai by a Sheikh (which meant full options, obviously...) who after a short time sold it to a Dutch chap. I'm British and this is my very first American vehicle. I also own a 2006 997.1 Carrera S.
The truck has got some mods already - AFE CAI, Corsa Sports exhaust, LED bar behind the front grill, ARB Twin Compressor and 35" Mud Claws.
First thing to do is to upgrade all the audio. It's got the Sony Sync system without nav but with sub setup. Unfortunately the frequencies are all US so jump .1, .3, .5 etc. and I need the even numbers for channels over here. It's a small issue but enough for me to justify upgrading the whole lot.
I've been using the forum for a couple of weeks reading away in the background (tons of awesome info I must add) and have just registered.
Also getting the bed liner spray installed in a couple of weeks to protect it (so I can throw in loads of wood and build big fires in the desert when camping).
Any other Dubai members on here?
