Im a Lieutenant for the Stamford Fire Department. I take 95. I am right off exit 14. I havent seen a lot of Raptors but I do know there are at least 3 in Norwalk and about 5 in New cannan. There is a high school kid with a velociraptor in NC HS. I ordered mine from Mcmahon Ford. I had gotten prices from Mcmahon, Stamford, Courtesy, Litchfield, Stevens, Shaker, and Colonial. Eveyone started out MSRP but I was able to get Mcmahon to match a price from up north so I went with them. They really gave me a song and dance about it but ordered my truck the next day. Im going to wait a month before I haggle the dealer to see if I got a VIN# but he is pretty good at keeping me posted.

My buddy who lives in Stamford bought a 2012 last year from dealer stock. He had to take silver even though he was aiming for blue, but didn't have to wait like us. In the end I ordered through the dealership where he bought as this is his third SVT vehicle from them since the mid nineties and he's always had a good experience working with them (Mustang, Lightning, now Raptor). The 20ish year old salesman was happy to give me $2500 off of MSRP and after what I went through with Stevens I was happy to take that number.

I just called and asked him to send over a copy of my DORA so I can see my order # and priority. He's being pretty optimistic about time estimates and says there's no one ahead of me from his dealership, but we'll see.

I work on the other end of town off the Parkway, exit 34 (Long Ridge).

NC high velociraptor doesn't surprise me. When the parkway is jammed I take backroads through there, and the houses (mansions) are crazy... hell, a nice ride isn't everything, though. Bet you anything his old man spends a lot more time with his career than with his family and uses big $$ gifts like that to rationalize that fact. We have 3 Raptors here in Fairfield that get together almost every weekend. Check out the Northeast section - Mt Washington Raptor run in July; trying to put a NY,NJ, CT gathering together; two of us are heading to Rausch creek on June 8th for some offroad.

Just spotted a black raptor headed north on the parkway between exits 40 & 41... perhaps one of you guys.

Man, what a badass looking truck when traveling such a small highway. I bet everyone moves right over. I can't wait for mine to get built!

Possibly if it was a Scab. There is a Black Screw in Redding, could've been him.

You know....I have never enjoyed driving on the Merritt as much as I do now with the Raptor....you're right...the front massive front end definitely makes people think twice about cruising in the left lane

Shannon was my old lieutenant before he got promoted. Awesome guy. There would have been four raptors in Fairfield if I didnt move after my divorce. There are two raptors at the Rowayton Station everyday. I will definitely hook up with you guys as soon as mine comes in. Would love to do some actual off-roading with the truck. he suspense is killing me especially since I have never been in one.

Spotted one drive south on 95 got off exit 9 this morning. I was hoping we were getting off the same exit so I could drool on my window.

I hear ya on that... I've oh ever seen them on the highway! Never even got to look one over up close.

My wife and daughter spotted a black one with MA plate on it headed north in Milford, yesterday. My wife is not moved by cars and normally wouldn't notice anything short of an ambulance, but she immediately recognized the grill and called to say she finally saw "my" truck and that it looked "really cool." Got high marks on the WAR scale (wife approval rating). Nice!
