the red letters are fine in the snow. Although my other vehicles have been/are 71 ford thunderbird (still have it and drove it as my daily driver from 18 years old till 22), chrysler 300c, 300 SRT8, 2012 CTS V coupe. I am use to driving vehicles that are terrible in the snow. The CTS V with 650HP and summer tires was literally scary as hell in 1/2" of snow. never experienced anything like it.
I bought my raptor used and it had some FUEL mud tires (they suck) that shook the truck between 70-75 but they were siped. The red letters are not but they are just as good as the FUEL's in the snow. I am sure there are a lot better options then the red letters for the winter but I have had no problems with everything from 1" to 12" of snow. plus they look bad ass with the red accents on my truck. so even if they did suck I would still be happy. hahah
