Hello all! I just recently joined and am super excited about the new 17 Raptor. I owned a 12 for awhile and sold it due to being a poor fit for me as a daily. Since then I have been waiting with bated breath for info on the 17 and currently am number one on the list at two dealers. One of the biggest drawbacks for me on the 12 was the power and lack of tuneability of a NA motor. I am a younger driver and pretty much every car I have had has been a turbo setup of some type. So I am super excited to see the EB motor in this truck, cant wait for more info!

In the mean time I thought I would post this up. This video was the start of me wanting an EB Raptor in a very bad way. Hopefully Ford has done it right and the truck will be a beast!

Nope not a chance since the current model year won't stop production until sometime in August to retool for new year. Order banks will most likely open September/October time frame FYI.

Shouldnt the order bank open well before the retool? I would think Ford would want orders in well before they get started on production. I also ordered an RS and the order bank for that opened almost six months before production was set to start.

That's not how it has been done in the past with the Raptor. Order banks for current year close in August and then re-open for new model year. May would be way too soon with all the unknown variables about the truck still.

Not trying to burst any bubbles, just didn't want the dealer misleading you.
