The guys from GT Lighting just stopped by our shop to show us the new MK series. Which are available in 3w and 5w double row, and 10w single row,You guys need to check these out lights out, They are by far the best quality of LED lightbar, for a inexpensive alternative.

These also offer mounting options on the side [trunion] or bottom.

Just curious, how do you know they're not "China made?"

Where do they make their LEDs? (You do know CREE makes their LED engines in China, right?)

How are they the "best quality of LED lightbar?"

I'll guess that GT Lighting USA may be operated by Americans but I suspect it's not owned by Americans (just a feeling I have).

One other question: After what RPG went through with Ford how do you guys get away with using "RaptorSVTParts.com" as your website and name? (Maybe Ford's lawyers/legal department hasn't found you yet?)

We are just trying to help the guys find products, alternatives to the higher priced lighting.
Although we do still offer VisionX, Rigid, Baja Designs as our main lighting lines.

The lights are made in Taiwan. How do I know, I asked! Yes I know CREE LEDS are made in China. So with that said I guess all light bars that have CREE LED's have a little Chinese in them. I'm sure you know about the different grades of Cree LED's as well ?
"best Lightbar for the highend/cost alternative" is my opinion, Holding them in my hand, and comparing them side to side to a china alternative there is a quality difference. Both are bright there is no doubt. But the GT design just seems to have a better overall fit and finish to the product. I also like the look better. As well as the mounting options.

Actually Cree was founded in Durham, North Carolina and their head manufacturing plant is located there. All of the high end stuff comes from that plant and there are certain LED bar manufacturers who use only the led's from that plant. - Cree Inc. - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia.
