People be very careful and be sure you understand what you are talking about. Raw lumens is not a good number to use. LED's are a very funny light source that only a properly engineered reflector as well as a way to deal with the thermal issues are what you want..

There is a reason why I have bought one set of these lights and will be getting another as soon as the brackets are finished by AO....

The D2's are really 2600 lumens, they are saying 3030 but those are raw lumens, not effective lumens. These light cannons are 3500 effective lumens each, or 5000 raw lumens, so you'd really be at 7,000 lumens total.

And for those who were waiting for a picture, here's a good one

Is there special brackets/(extra cost) required in order to hood mount these babies?? Do you also sell the mounts?

I need more damn switches in my truck!!!!

Can you please PM me a forum price for a pair, with hood mounts and two amber covers. Thank you.

Come on! Who needs a lap dance? Daddy needs another pair of lights!

Blue, keep in mind that you can get covers in a myriad of colors, and also in Spot, Euro and Flood settings, so make sure James quotes what you want.

Me personally, I'm getting White Spot and Euro and Amber Spot. I want to protect the lens, but also in heavy snow, there is so much "bounce back" from the hood lights that I feel a Spot, with it's more narrow cross section, is going to cause this less.

Just my 2 cents. James, got any weekend work for me? Sweep out the shop???

To answer your question it's kinda like this:

Flood is a short and wide beam pattern
Spot is a narrow and long beam pattern
Euro is in between the two
