Bought a 18 raptor 2 years ago with 20k miles on it. RACE red. 802a. Anyway. Been great haven’t had any issues till now 52k miles. Front pinion seal. Also done front diff and rear diff cover changes along with transfer case fluid change.
Now in my haste I didn’t use a beam style to find the drang before I took off the pinion nut I have counted threads before and set them a hair tighter by feel. I done the same with this and at low speed going down a hill or under no load I hear a slight noise coming from front end. 20-30mpg. There is no noise at highway speed or under load. I was wondering if anyone had torque specs for pinion nut or drag torque with and without new crush washer.
