Just got a new used 2010 Raptor
I look fwd. to hours of reading here on the forum.

I am new to forums as well, what I really need to know is where to locate the keypad door entry security code. The card is not in the vehicle, The dealer wants 40.00 to scan it.

Thanks for advice in advance.

WELCOME!
Your code card should be in your owners manual. 40 bucks is a rip, your dealer should have done it for free.

Welcome, and congrats on the purchase!

Did the dealer sell you the truck? Any chance of finding the previous owner?

Welcome to the forums.

Not sure if this is still the case but I would guess that it is. On all older model Ford keyless entry systems, the 5 digit code was stamped or on a sticker on the locking computer module. I do not know for sure if this is still the case on the Raptor but here is some documentation for how it used to be on Ford Explorers:

How do I reset a keyless entry key pad on a Ford Explorer? - Yahoo! Answers

Perhaps someone here knows where the locking mechanism computer module is located on the Raptor and you could dig into it to see if it still holds true.

Good luck.

Another tack would be to go back to the dealer. Tell them you just bought a 2010 Raptor that is still under warranty.

a) Make up a 5 digit code and tell them it has stopped working. Please fix.
or
b) Name the two other closest Ford dealers to their location. Tell them if they would like your future business, they will provide you with the keypad code. If not you'll be happy to bring your business to one of the other dealers.

Good luck.
