New guy, SC, ‘14, 1st Raptor, graphics question

Hey everyone, new to the forum and first time Raptor owner from Greenville, SC. A bit of an impulse buy. Always wanted one, needed a new truck and saw this one and had to have it. Bought it sight unseen and haven’t even picked it up yet. Overseas until the end of the month. What do you guys think about the graphics on this truck? I’m on the fence about it. Part of me likes it and part of me thinks people are going to think this guy is trying to get people to notice him. I’m a low profile kind of guy so this is a huge departure from what I normally drive.

Welcome to the place, congrats on a beautiful Raptor. Well, you bought the wrong truck if you’re really a low key type of guy, you should get your money back and go get a Prius. Hope your girlfriend or wife doesn’t mind hot women throwing their wet ******* at you, women will stop you in traffic and try to get in your truck, that’s the Gen 1 Raptor lifestyle. If it’s not for you and you like big fat Karen’s for women, just delete your account and move on.

I like your style man. That’s pretty funny. I think I’ll take my chances with the Raptor over the Prius. It’s a nice upgrade from the Dodge Ram I’ve been driving.

The Prius is an upgrade over a Ram. I've never been a fan of graphics, I would have taken mine off if it weren't that the digital camo blends in with the black, so they are nearly invisible most of the time.

If you aren't sure on the graphics, then do nothing right now and see if your opinion changes. Those graphics aren't cheap, and once you pull them off, you won't get them back on.

Personally, I think the bedside looks good on your truck. I like the black hood as well. Not so much for the lettering on the hood, but that is less visible, and not sure you can get that off without taking off the entire hood.

So to me, the hood is ok and breaks up the monotone look well. To me, the bedsides are too busy. The individual components are great, but together, the Old Glory visage and ‘Raptor’ script collide and wash each other out.

I’m not big into graphics, particularly the grossly overpriced factory graphics from Ford that I bought because it was the only MSRP deal I could get in late ’16. I didn’t remove them and they’re still going strong on the truck.

I wouldn’t mess about with them unless they’re really offensive up close. In the pics, they look fine.

Welcome! I think the graphics look sharp, I've been planning on getting some on mine.

I do have to agree, you bought the wrong truck if you want to blend in, lol. Don't be afraid to be bold - take a chance and be wild. I promise, once you go bold, you'll be addicted and never look back

Welcome and great looking Gen 1! Ultimately, it's your decision, but if it were my truck, I'd remove the bedside graphics - especially if you're into more of a low-key look. Enjoy the truck once you have keys in hand though and if you decide to keep the graphics, still looks good!
