Me, anytime I get a new vehicle especially something that I plan on going out and beating the shit out of I always go over it with a fine tooth comb looking for things that might be susceptible before I head out. Just a small insurance thing I do cause maybe I might see something that looks like it needs attention. I just kinda **** about it cause I know its just a assembly production vehicle that does have problems.

This shit just happened to me on my Gen2 with 7k miles. I pulled into my driveway to find all the damb coolant all over the floor. it's a stupid clamp that I don't think was attached correctly.

This is the best pics I could get. That fitting was "locked" open and was against the plastic part connected to the engine. I had to "unlock" it and it closed up to properly attach that hose.

All over the floor? Do you mean driveway or inside the truck?

Driveway.

Gonna go check now! Thanks for posting that.
No problem! It's an easy fix just pain in the ass to have to fix something on a new vehicle. Had to add a lot of coolant to put it back to min level

Just checked mine, fortunately it was solid, but this thread gives me an idea. Stuff like this issue only takes a minute to check, but can prevent serious issues if you're stuck in the middle of nowhere.

Perhaps there should be a thread that rounds up and lists common issues & easy things to check? I don't check the forum too often, or I'd volunteer to create one myself...
