Just bite the bullet and go with 3.0s. I wasted $900 and a bunch of install time messing with rebuilds at first; ended up switching to Kings after 8 months. Here's a few. Still going through the truck. Just finished installing R1 Concepts rotors and pads at all 4 corners. Needs shocks rebuilt or might go 3.0. Looking for new wheels and 37" tires.
Thanks, No it did not. Prior owner had no knowledge. Spoke with Procharger kit was purchased in 2011. So looks like it was done when new. Prior owner owned since 2015/2016 50k. He just did the basic maintenance. Truck is originally from Boise, Idaho. I picked up from Idaho Falls, Idaho. Will be sending to JBA here in San Diego for a new updated tune as tech has changed quite a bit since 2011!I like it! Congrats. Did it come with any dyno numbers? I like where you're going with the mods.
I just did new geomet rotors and pads from R1 Concepts. Have used them before on my F-350 and SRT's. Good stopping power without a Big Brake Kit upgrade and decently priced. The whole setup for the Raptor was right around 400.00. I did my own install.I’m not a mechanical guy, but my 2013 with a Roush SC / Roush exhaust was put in by Ken Grody Ford. I asked for dyno numbers but they said that dynos unnecessarily wear the engine......hmmm. Your truck looks awesome and enjoy it. Get it dirty!
I’m looking to upgrade my brakes, but Ken Grody said 10k for any upgrade worth while.
