I will also take it a step further and find a good deal on a CPO (Ford Certified Pre-owned) Raptor so that the extended warranty comes with the truck.
The peace of mind in my opinion from having a Ford dealer certify their truck is a nice luxury (and perhaps necessity for some).

Ford Certified Preowned means absolute shit. Since I am in the business and up to 2009 sold Nissans, they had the Nissan Certified Program. This was a tool for the dealership to sell you extended warranty "without a lube". They would tell the customer about 165 point inspection, (like anybody looks at 165 parts), give me a ******* brake. Also it meant a base powertrain warranty up to 100k miles where the vehicle has to be serviced by Nissan to maintain it. See what I am getting at. Since its certified and you only get a BASE powertrain warranty the natural direction was an extended warranty that they would sell you once they had you against the wall.....You can buy a Raptor and get an awesome warranty that would cover it BTB without any questions.....
