New from MI

Hey guys,

Now owner as of July 2nd. Picked up a Silver Super Crew from Jack Demmer Ford. The morning I picked it up I took off for the 4th weekend up north. Hit some small ORV routes I know of near Houghton Lake and Alpena. Already have 2020 miles on it! Most of that is because I find every excuse I can to drive it.

Very happy with the truck, few things to have fixed (plastic trim and stuff loose) but nothing that seems any different from all the GM trucks I owned previous.

Not knew to the Offroad world, by new to a truck that can go this fast on the trail. My other toy is a 2006 H3 with 35"s and other goodies that I hit the trails with.

I met a nice woman in Belville with what I thought was '10 red supercab, I keep seeing a black super cab around Plymouth by me, drives by my house every now and then, also have seen another silver supercrew with grafics around the corner from me.

Well glad to be part of the group, now I just have to find time away from work!

I'm East of you in St.Clair Shores. We have many Raptors in this area and are always trying to have meets.
I believe the next meet is the Gratiot cruise next Sunday. Most of the guys will be at Dorian Ford if you in the area
stop by and say hi. I'll be out of town so I won't be there but there will be a lot of great guys there.

i worked and lived in Alpean for 2 years after school. Worked for Lafarge. I owned a house in Presque Isle (in the bis association up there) for a couple years too.

My parents have a place on Lake Winyah (for about 15 years now) but I don't there often any more. My inlaws have a small familiy farm / property where we grow produce for the local market, so most of my weekends are spent out there.

I work with a lot of guys from that side, they tell me about all the Raptors they see out that way. I will try to make it out, but it probably won't happen. Work has me in on weekends and a 2 month old at home, and I have to get my H3 ready for two trips to Drummond Island in a couple weeks. Thanks for lettting me know and I will make if I can

Just another note on the truck. I put the order in with the Dealer on May 23, my wife's water broke just after I walked in the door at home. My son was born on the 24th, the same day the paperwork made it to Ford. Truck was built June 27 and delivered July 1.

Holy crap! Your truck took just over a month to build?

I don't know why mine was built so fast. I was in contact with the dealer for months, waiting on my lease to finish. I don't know if there was some place holder out there that they put in, but I never signed any paperwork or finilaized the order until May.

Basically I got a call and the dealer said, if you order by E May your truck might get built in June. So I ordered the truck and it came in... Just lucky I guess.

I did order mine with Nav, but got a call later saying Nav was unavailable and would have to wait for MY 2012, so I said forget it. I will figure out how to add Nav later and go ahead and order the truck.
