Whether you choose to admit it or not, Ford, Bud Light, and other large companies are striving to hit a DEI score - that’s “Divide, Exclude & Insult” so that the lobbyists representing the .8% of the population in America identifying as ‘trans’ can have their own privileges as employees and to proclaim loudly how they embrace the LGBTQA+/- movement. Now, it would be one thing to cater and sell vehicles specifically appealing to those of that movement - or any other movement ( Hello, Subaru ! ) but it’s entirely another thing to make a celebratory endorsement of the same with the tacit understanding that all the vendors other customers should do the same, or you are a RACISTHOMOPHOBEBIGGOT.

How long until our ‘pride parades’ start getting the violent undertones of the ‘orange walks’ in NI ? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Orange_walk

Appealing to this extreme minority population segment and their very vocal and effective lobby necessarily offends many of the Christian, Muslim & Jewish faiths. I’m betting Ford won’t offer the Pride color theme in Saudi Arabia. They would if they were truly committed to LGBTQA+/- though, wouldn’t they?

Whether it’s for, or against something as divisive as deviant ****** behavior, the best thing a company can do is simply sell its products and not position itself in the middle of divisive issues, because the more money the company spends on these initiatives, the more our trucks cost.
I second everything smurfslayer has stated.

DEI is a political movement, nothing more or less just like the BLM political movement. We have a right to be against corporations taking political positions. We want corps to be apolitical like they used to before all this non-sense. No one is buying your nonsense Mr. 4 post Jones who created another account just to troll here...

There was freedom and equality before all the woke non-sense. You cannot provide any systemic evidence otherwise. It's all political hogwash.

Lol my favorite part of your comment is you making up a hypothetical and believing it to be true rather than just leaving it as a hypothetical.

Actually, it’s misgendered mislabeled as ‘diversity, equality, inclusion’ https://www.dictionary.com/browse/dei

but implemented it is translated to divide, exclude, insult.

The lobby putting pressure on corporations to accommodate ‘pride edition’ products, specific bathrooms for the trans folks, or sharing bathrooms for MtF trans with women during transition, the pronoun police, and the crowd who subscribe to the systemic racism belief system are conducting a corporate blackmail scam like Al Sharpton is famous for. Corporations have to navigate the corporate blackmailers (lobbyists) carefully or end up on some “list” like the SPLC hate watch list or whatever list du jour is trending.

This absolutely costs us all more money. It also detracts from real issues of bigotry, unfair treatment and racism.

And again if companies are serious about advancing the pride agenda, take it somewhere that does not have America’s enlightened sensibilities. I hear pride is really in UAE or Sauid Arabia ... if you like executions anyway. So to Ford I say, put your pride money where your mouth is and offer for sale only rainbow colored vehicles in those countries ! Go on, I dare you.

I just want a solid off roader, and I don’t give a shít if the Raptor driver next to me is black, white, red, yellow, don’t care what continent their ancestry hails from, and I don’t care who or what they want to hook up with.
I just don’t want to be preached to by the seller of the truck I buy, or beer I drink, or any other product for that matter.

I'm shocked I have not received a single Report from a California member on this thread yet, but I'm sure it's coming.

Told you, the 1st report was received last night. While this thread may appear "hostile", it does identify as "happy" so it's completely acceptable.

All the pandering to 3% of the population is just maddening. I just quit paying attention to political sites altogether because it was just upsetting me… and now a person can’t even enjoy something as red blooded as a truck for Christs sake without a load of pandering horseshit. Why won’t these companies learn to just ****
Yup! Whats crazy to me is the Bud Lite thing... ALL the other beer companies have pandered to the gay/trans movement. I have a chit load of Bud cause it was so cheap.
