Good News!!
BFGoodrich authorized the warranty replacement of the rotting OEM K0's that came stock on my Raptor.
I now have 5 brand new K02's.
I never used the spare tire and it had also started splitting. It was also covered under warranty.
I had gone to 4 Wheel Parts to handle the warranty claim but they dropped the ball somewhere.
So I contacted Americas Tire. These guys where on it.
The only issue I had was the percentage that would be covered.
I was told I would have to pony up 15% of the cost for each tire.
So I called BFGoodrich and talked with a very cordial and polite warranty rep.
She said I should only be paying 10% of the cost for each tire plus mounting/balancing and taxes.
I agreed and she documented it in my claim.
So Americas Tire ordered 5 new LT315 K02's from the warehouse yesterday and they were installed today.
I also purchased a new Ford OEM TPMS sensor so it could be installed into the spare.
Total cost for everything = $331.15
5 new K02's (+ Mounting/balancing and taxes) = $227.74
New Ford OEM TPMS sensor kit (+ tax) = $83.41
Modest Tip = $20
All 5 K02's have the same manufactured date of 3516 (35th week of 2016).
So they were just made in August of 2016 (fresh rubber).
I am quite humbled and extremely happy with the outcome.
