Ordered my replacement 35" ko2s today. BFG offered me 40% replacement on my 4 @ 8/32. Realized I needed 5 and my spare is @ 17/32. They approved the 5th, but rep wouldn't bump up the % without me asking to talk to a supervisor. Then said she could do %50. Told her I still didn't think that was fair enough and said 56% was the actual average tread. I had to ask for a supervisor again and while I was on hold somehow I got put back in the queue and had to tell my issue to another rep. The rep asked if I was happy with %60 and I was shocked. "Hell yeah!"
Did that lady rep have more discounting authority and just decided to be a biotch today I wonder.

Nice Job. What exactly are you getting warrantied, as in what's wrong w/the OEM KO's that BFG is warrantying direct for you? I've never heard of that...

For some of you. (you know who you are)

35x12.50R17: <-- This tire has raised white letters.
Load rating = E
Speed rating = R (up to 106mph)
Diameter (in) = 34.5
Weight (lbs) = 66.5

LT315/70R17: <-- This tire has raised black letters.
Load rating = E
Speed rating = S (up to 112mph)
Diameter (in) = 34.4
Weight (lbs) = 62.4

Both size tires have 2-ply sidewalls and 3-ply treads.

Awesome info at a glance.

BFG = Stupid move to go E rating on the Metric size or that would be the PERFECT tire IMHO.

The height is the same so looks wise...equal.

I will take the weight savings all day long.

I will take the higher speed rating all day long.

I will take the black letters all day long.

Are they snowflake rated in both?

Has anyone gone from the Duratrac to the KO2?

Any comparison between the two?
Curious, as I would like to buy a new set asap, and I'm stuck between the two.
Do a lot of highway miles, and go offroad at least 1-2 times a month.
Wet traction is my #1 concern living in FL

I have Duratracs on my 2010 Titan Pro4x...and in the Snow, Rain, Mud, and Dirt they are great tires...look tough, VERY quiet on the highway, etc....just wear sooner than you'd like, but w/a snowflake rating that's to be expected with a softer compound.

Will get some better pics tomorrow during the day time.

The spare 37" KO2 fits in the stock spare location, barely. What do you guys think? Too snug or acceptable? Entertaining the idea of getting a tire carrier in the bed.

I'm putting mine in the bed. I bought the dodge d rings for tie down points and I am getting some straps. I am trying to keep my spare out of the elements (I have a bed cover).
