I have heard horrible for snow too. But I can tell you I have driven through 2 feet of unplowed snow with my OEM BFG tires and never had an issue. I was thinking about Duratracs but the sidewalls don't seem very strong compared to these.

I've had them on since Wednesday. So far I like them but I've only driven on pavement so far. I am taking them offroad next weekend so I will report back with my thoughts.

Those who say the BFG AT is "horrible" in snow? Nonsense. My 37/12.50/17 BFG ATs are great in Winter. They have the snowflake/mountain symbol which means they are Winter rated. I've been running them in Winter for years since my first Raptor in 2010. I expect the same from the new KO2s as well in that size (at least). A M/T with no tread block siping will just skate on snow/ice.

Driving in 2WD through a foot of snow? Not many tires are going to do well.

The new KO2s have done really well off roading in the desert areas. Haven't tested in harsh rocky areas, but sand and etc...very pleased with them.

I agree bfg's aren't nearly that bad. I do think it is very specific to load rating and compound, but I have had good performance out the stock tires and great performance out of bfg's with the snowflake on a four runner. Obviously they aren't a dedicated winter tire, but they aren't deplorable. I made first tracks through 24 to 30 inches of snow this winter on the scenic highway in Snowshoe WV and had absolutely zero problems. Raptor 4H, I honestly don't see many tires doing better. Ice maybe different story but I have no complaints.

I went through my first winter with the stock BFG's. I've drove in a lot of winters and can say that I never once thought about these tires being a problem. I do a lot of different winter driving - back roads, unplowed fields, highway, city stuff. All around perfection with the stockers.

Did Moab this spring and they did great in the sand and on the rocks.

Did TRR with them. I will say that the deep mud was a challenge, but never thought about getting stuck.

I hope the KO2's wear as good as these tires. I have 47,000 on them and probably still have 50% tread left!!! Rotate all 5 tires on my set and they are still going strong....
