Sorry I don't think a solution is available yet to do this. I'm not sure why you wouldn't choose to stream through the system's bluetooth connection instead.

You mean to stream the video from your phone? That ties your phone to the vehicle then to watch a movie. I am looking for a solution so the phone can be used while letting the family view the screen.

Your only option for that is going to be an aftermarket head unit. Something like a PX6/PX3 works great if you have the patience to work out the kinks. I have a PX6 tied to the factory wifi hot spot and I can steam YouTube, Amazon Prime, HBO go or whatever I want with it as long as cell reception holds out. You can also do an aux video in or play movies off of a USB but I haven't tried that.
