thats fine. considering our shop is in california. you dont know the history that phil long and i have and how they treated me and my truck. while i wont post details about what happened, lets just say they made things worse. you can go back to the beginning of this forum and you wont find one negative thing i have said about a business, however i will try to make sure everyone i know does not get screwed over at phil long like i did or my friends did. so yeah, just because of my terrible experiences and friends terrible experiences with the company your wife works for, changes your opinion on us, (for which you have had no experience) then you wouldnt appreciate what we know about these trucks anyways. they burned bridges when they did what thay did to me and again when they did it to my friends. and im ready to accept whatever bridge burns.

Thoughts on the S&B intake? Install ? Sound?

I like it honestly
It does add some more turbo noise while they are spooling and I think it gave me alittle bit more of throttle response.

Do keep in mind S&B claim there has been some issues with Ford saying the warrenty was voided due to the oiled air filter causing something. They did say they will back you if needed so I purchased a dry filter with an additional sock that goes over it.Plus and a oiled filter I plan on installing soon and saving the dry if I ever have to take it into the dealer.
The reasoning the dry filter is not a lifetime reusable filter the oiled is as long as you maintain it right.

So far removed factory front plate mount.
S&B CAI just finished
JLT oil catch can
So a few updates on the latest additions to the Raptor.
I installed the Mishimoto Intercooler and the Turbo smart BOV in July.
I have not noticed any huge difference in Air intake charge temps, but it is somewhat cooler. I ran into a issue with the BOV after I put everything back together and tested it. The instructions say you do not need to adjust the spring tension on the BOV. After I started the truck it was back firing and sounded pretty crappy. I followed the trouble shooting instructions online for Turbo Smart and everything checked out. I adjusted the spring tension and made it harder and the back firing issue was fixed.

All and all its sounds pretty good and I like driving by WRX/STI's and getting the thumbs up when they hear the BOV release.

Anyone on the Forum have or are familiar with the Mishimoto Intercooler? Im just wondering if you noticed a big difference in Air Charge Temps from stock and after?
