Hate to say it, but the center console looks like it was just an afterthought and thrown together at the last minute. Button and knob placements just don't seem right to me.

The 26 needs to have 500 horsepower. It does not need 540 like the RHO but 500 will keep people interested. How many engines are in a vehicle for 9 years with same output. Toyota fans be quiet no one cares.
You won't see any changes in 26. You most likely won't see a new Raptor until at least 2028. The refresh will last 2-3 yrs easily, so that puts you into MY27/MY28, and thats assuming a Raptor comes out with the initial next gen MY.

There is little to no incentive to go to 500hp. The RHO will not sell enough to push Ford's path, so they don't care. The TRX didn't even sell enough to make Ford rush the R to the market. It arrived when Ford was ready.

At this point Ford is most likely to produce a gen 4 when changes to the base F-150 make it more economical to change the body and interior. The hiatus between gen one and two was likely due to a late decision to continue the trim level.

Ugh, thats gross and looks like you bought the cheap trim of a car. For the first time, I'm actually really really glad to have gotten an early model year vehicle. The appearance and options have just gotten worse and worse MY over MY.
I agree. I think I’m going to regret selling my 22.

Note to self since I will likely be buying my next Raptor used (buy a 24'). not a fan of 21-23 styling compared to 24' and the 25' interior downgrades look really bad. No offense to the OP, you picked a great color.

Ford looks more and more like a Vietnamese restaurant on it's last legs. Portions keep getting smaller and smaller. I tried to tell one of the owners that people would rather pay a higher price to get what they want than to feel cheated. She didn't get it. Looks like Ford doesn't get it either. I may just keep my '20 and see what '26 brings.
Thats what i’m saying. I was 2 seconds away from putting an order in for a 2025. Now i’m thinking I just move up to a 2022 with low ish miles and a 37pp and call it a day. I’d be excited to see in 2026 if they have an only v-8 model, but at this rate i’m skeptical. Unless their game plan is to make such a dogshit bare bones raptor now, then release a 2026 with all the bells and whistles to make the gap seem extraordinary and worth upgrading to. Meh

5.0 V8 Please. Ford keeps removing options in the interior to a point, I won't know if I'm setting in a Raptor or an STX....lol. Raptor should have some level of Wow factor when you get inside. Not having to look for upgrades..

At least when you had the Torsen diff and red strip on the steering wheel you felt like you were getting something for blowing that kind of money. I wish they would ditch the pro back up and keep stuff Raptor owners want.

I guess my standards are lower. I don’t feel like I’m missing much with regard to feature in my ‘25. I had a ‘18 Raptor, and my previous truck was a ‘22 AT4x. I lost massaging seats with more adjustments as well as better leather, and a review mirror camera that my GMC had. Also, the cameras were better on the AT4x. Otherwise, I have all the same features plus a pano roof, higher wattage inverter, better interior and exterior lighting, and more driver adjustable settings. This is before you add in more power and a better suspension. A 2025 AT4x optioned like mine would sticker for me than the 801a Raptor I got.

I’m just glad there are still physical buttons for most features. I’ve driven some recent BMW SUVs, and everything is in the screens. GM is going the same route with the mid cycle Tahoe update. They move things like homelink to the screen which makes it way less convenient.

Isn't pro backup just software? Cheap software they flogged out to India? I could see it being useful if you're backing up something really short that you can't see in the mirrors until it's way out of line, but regular trailers? They're not rocket science. I used to parallel park the damn things. At sixteen years old with a brand-new license. Farm kids FTW. :)

I was considering an RHO, so I went and drove one. It didn’t feel much faster than a Raptor and didn’t seem to drive as well. Not to mention it’s a Stellantis product. Shortly after my RHO test drive, I began seriously trying to find a 2025. I should have it before the end of the month.
