got a route planned? going by yourself you should at least let us know where you are going. just in case you get stuck or stranded we can send out search and rescue if we dont hear from youSince I have not driven this in 20 years I have opted to go it alone this year and see how things are my wife and I will take it easy and take pictures to share to set this up for another trip for anyone that's interested in the future... But for now I figure since the Tahoe trip was so recent and most people are going to be burnt out for this three day weekend I will limit this trip to one and not take along a bunch of people until I can get a feel for what were going to see... Huckfest this weekend so it was only a week for the next one.... In the best interest of all I want to know what were going to get in to before we get there.... These are going to be roads that have switch backs fast rate of rise and will cover from 2000 to 8000 feet in a very short distance. It passes old mining camps and not all the road is going to be high speed approved... Lots to see at 25 MPH... I will probably be doing some night time running and getting a good feel for lighting choices I made...
