Excellent advise, almost all the way around (not putting bigger tires on this thing!), so thank you. Since you're in Charlotte, we'll have to meet up sometime once I get it and you'll have to teach me a few things. I really don't know if I like the idea of bringing it to 4 Wheel Parts and getting screwed on parts and labor, so where you go, I'll have to follow. Not to mention, going and doing said "proper Raptor shenanigans" as you mentioned.
Thanks again for your help, much appreciated!
Yeah yeah yeah, you say that now, wait till you see one, bumpers and lights and stuff are cool, but a nice aggressive looking hybrid tire and a little offset changes the look of the truck 10 fold! Rides better too!
As far as 4 wheel parts goes I was lucky enough, when I didn't know better, for my issue to just be an alignment they couldn't get right. Having heard the horror stories I've now heard I wouldn't touch em with a 10ft pole.
I'm slowly more and more inclined to doing stuff myself but when I'm lazy or don't have the tooling, Ross of R&L Customs is my go to guy. He's almost as OCD as me and knows what he's doing. Then Ron at Tarheel 4WD for tire and wheel stuff.
