My warranty just expired and i have to potential issues

First off i continually get a message on my gauge cluster saying "remove objects near pass seat" i took it to ford before warranty expired and they said they re-calibrated the sensor, however the problem has come back.. any ideas?

second I was looking at my rear shocks and noticed that the passenger Resivor had a slight amount of oil on the bottom of it near the seal? does this mean the shock is blown or what? the driver side is completely dry. Keep in mind its only a little bit not a lot, there was a tiny piece of rubber almost like a seal hanging off.

your imput would be greatly appreciated.

for the remove object issue they should still cover it under warranty as it's an on going problem that was brought up under warranty.

here, on frf
if there was a record of the issue before the warranty expired, then it should still be covered even after the warranty expired..... thats what happened to my subaru. i had an intermittent issue so the dealer made note of it in the service records, 2 months later (1 month after 5year warranty expired) the same issue came back. everything was covered under the warranty and no cost to me. i dont think ford would have an issue with your warranty given that it just expired and you have had this ongoing problem.

as far as shocks...... i coudnt tell you, but wsi is probably right.

Once it was the seat repaired under warranty you can take it back in.. like othes said...

Interesting read in that thread that was referenced. So Fox's name is all over the shocks, if they blow or Ford wants to charge an arm and a leg for a new set....who's name get trashed with no support?? Doesn't seem like a good deal for Fox.

@hockster it seems like it hits bumps hard however it could just be my imagination.. i had the outlaw frame support put on an the rubber o ring on the bump stop is usually at the same spot on both sides. i feel like it travels more but have no other raptor to compare to. thanks for your help btw
