Need help getting video on screen

So I picked up my new raptor today. I thought getting a movie to play on the screen would be as easy as plugging in an iPod with a 30 pin to RCA connector. The iPod shows that the videos is playing on screen but the sound still comes out of the iPod and the screen still shows the RCA jacks picture. Does anyone know how to fix this problem or can you direct me to a link that explains how to make this work?

So they replaced the DVD in the dash for CD and no iPod video? Sounds like a step backwards to me.

This is the cable I used? I thought it was a A/V cable. Sorry, wanted to add the picture but don't know how.

when you are stopped it should work fine

Not to be insulting, but make sure you have the correct input/source selected too.

EDIT: Never mind... you said the screen shows the RCA jacks picture, so you're on the correct input. Sorry, can't help you.

Yes colors are correct.

I was in the driveway with the car in park. Only thing I didn't try was putting the parking brake on.

Thanks but the Nav-TV is getting installed as we speak. I was just trying to do it in park the way ford intended before they installed it but I guess nothing is simple.
