NavTV Zen and TOSLink to amp, volume controls

Hi All,

I'm getting prepped to install a new speaker setup in my 2019 with the B&O system. My plan was to run the NavTV Zen unit to a JL Audio VX1000/5i using a TOSLink cable instead of the analog rca inputs.

My question is, will the volume controls on the factory headunit still work or will I need a secondary volume control knob? If so, I'll run it with the rca cables instead.

I'd prefer to keep the factory controls so I don't have to remember to deal with a second volume knob

Yes, your factory volume knob will work just fine. Same method I'm using (Zen to VXi amps via optical).
