Hi guys, picked up my 2013 yesterday and am in love but having an issue with the NAV SD Card, and I'd like to fix it myself but may have to take a trip to my local dealer (not the dealer I purchased from, I had to go 130 miles away for a deal :whymewhyme: )

Anyway my NAV is not working. It will attempt to load each time I start the truck and will load part of the map occaisionally but will flash up on the screen SD card detected, Lync directions will be disabled... then it will flash up 5 seconds later the SD Card error I have pictured. Then it will ask to insert NAV SD Card about 15 seconds later and go through the whole song and dance again.

It will realize where I am on occaision but it will not load the map and it will not track me at all. When I click on the Navigation when it thinks an SD Card is in it will bring up a blank map and I'm unable to enter any address info.

I have tried a system reset through the menu options, but to no avail. I was hoping someone else had experienced this issue, but have come up empty on searches.

Anyone know anything about this???

Any insight will be helpful, but if nothing comes up I will have to hit the dealer sometime this week.

Aside from this I'm in love with the truck!

-Jeff

After much screwin around i figured it out. The box in the glove box housing the flash card and usb ports was removed and screwed with by someone... i assume the dealer. Had to pull that computer out and reset the cable connections.

As an aside i think the dealer also kept the faceplate to that module in the glove box of my '13... guess i have to take a trip to my local dealer afterall. I just hope they help me out, as the dealer i purchased the truck from is a solid 150 miles away.

My first call would be to the dealer where you bought the truck, and tell them what you found and asked them why they needed to remove the housing?

Call the 800 somewhere on the screen before you go to the dealers. I think they are on 24/7. Thats how I learned to do a master reset. That 800 number is in the manual under my ford touch, I think.
