the front camera works the same as prior to bypass
the center display (between rpm and speed) scroll down to truck apps and one of the options there is for front camera. With out the bypass you have to have truck in off road mode and rear diff locked then you hit the ok button and the nav screen will show the camera up to like 5 mph. with the bypass all you have to do is hit the ok button and it will come on. no need to have off road mode and rear diff locked. also the camera will stay on no matter how fast you go. the only way the front camera wont stay on is if you put in reverse. Now when using the "bypass" you will loose the steering lines. steering lines are blue lines that show up and let you know where your path will be depending on how the wheel is turned. If you use the camera like there is no bypass (off road mode and rear diff locked) you will then get the steering lines again.
the reverse camera you double push the rear defrost button and it will show up. Now there is a small thing with this... if you use your rear defrost, when/if it times out on its own (or you manually turn it off) the rear camera will come on. It doesnt appear that there is a time setting on the double push. you can push the defrost button one time and then 10 mins later push it again and the rear camera will come on.
Also with the bypass you can use all your functions of the nav while driving down the road. Now in order to do this you double press the regular defrost button 2 times.
Hope that makes since. if not let me know and i can explain further.....
