After having this setup for over a year, I can't say enough great things about it. All the stuff you wish Sync had in the first place:
1. TPMS by tire
2. OBD idiot light explanation
3. Front and Rear camera control at will
4. Nav that actually works right
5. full control of sound thru system (eq, balance fade (independent of sub)
It has been bulletproof for me, and I even have my off road videos loaded on an SD card inserted into it so I can watch and think about off roading when I'm sitting in bumper to bumper traffic.
