Nasty noise on every startup.

Pretty nasty noise on startup. Sounds like a bad rattle somewhere on the driver side, worse when cold. There's a metallic ting that can be heard in one of the two sound clips as well. That existed before the rattle. It can be heard in the cab and it sounds like its right behind the steering wheel.
Any ideas?

Yeah cam phasers that’s very possible but metallic rattle sounds like a wastegate.

Welcome to cam phasers. Mine (2018, 62k mi) was making that noise also. Dealer still gave me $60k on trade for it when I ordered a new KR Tremor with 7.3L. No regrets. I get 14mpg now instead of 16, but at least burns Reg. When you go to trade it in, the engine will be warm, so it won't make that noise when they start it up.
