Im not sure why some guys have clearance issues, and some guys dont. I went to a KO2 37 first, did mid perch and it rubbed at the back down low and up top against the flair when tucked. I pounded the pinch down, and had my alignment shop push the LCA out at the back to give me more clearance.
I was running the truck at Cycle Ranch on the truck track I built, and was worried I was going to blow the fenders off. The 2.5's were struggling to keep up.
I made the switch to a 3.0 DSC and moved into a KM3. I still see some scrub marks up top inside the wheel well on the flair, but have never ripped the flair out or cracked a fender. I assume it from keeping the wheels straight when landing from a jump.
I've fully tucked it a couple times and have yet to tear it up... Wonder if 3.0 and my alignment give me the room to clear?
