My PROD date’s been pushed from 8/30, to 10/25, now 11/1…Wow!…

FYI…if you didn’t catch it in my original post…this IS a Retail (Customer) order, not a Stock order…it has a priority code for a Retail order as well.

Also…I do have a VIN as well…they had it scheduled for week of 8/30 initially, then it changed to a Build “date” of 8/30…and has stayed that way, until today.

I have an agreement with the Dealer, that if it doesn’t arrive until end of 2021 and the 2022’s would be delivered within a month after this order arrived…I can swap out to a 2022 (they will flip my deposit over). Just depends on what we find out about the 2022’s in a couple weeks…they could delay ordering the 2022’s too, to accommodate and catch up with the remaining 2021’s.

Suffice it to say…we’ll all know more by 9/15, which is just a couple weeks away. If it’s still gonna be a late delivery & 2022’s are more appealing, I’ll have them place a new order for 2022 and let them keep the 2021 for stock.

My only goal is to take delivery by March 2022…so shouldn’t be an issue.

I may be more patient than others here, lol…hence, I was prepared for delays. I was excited for October delivery, now a little disappointed…but not upset or mad by any means, maybe a bit curious as to the reason they change it…but that’s about it.

Just checked mine on FP. They told me "As of 8/19 all they show is in production". My build date is supposed to be tomorrow, but they didn't offer that info now.

DAMN ,my production week is Sept 20th and holding as of now ,I have a VIN,so now im worried that it will get pushed up too ,UGH!!!

I think once it’s in production they don’t show a build date or something, when I checked yesterday all they said is it’s in production. Mine ended up being built yesterday (one day after the blend date and a day before FP originally told me). Now I have an ETA.

Yea im guessing if it started in production already it should be fine. I think after this weeks production they are starting to adjust.

I called yesterday and had the same answer. Then today, mine shows as Built on 08/25 with Estimate Dealer Delivery of 09/18 so clearly the information FP might not be updated.

Just got off the phone with FP…was expecting them to say that all was status quo for Production date (not week) of this Monday (Aug 30th), which would put it into QA after Labor Day…with delivery sometime in October.

Was NOT expecting them to tell me 4 days prior to the Production date, that it has been pushed off for 2 months…to Oct 25th!!! The FP rep was even shocked about it & mentioned that it was the first order he’s seen have that happen to…especially considering the Priority Code being for a Retail order!

He did say to check back in over the next couple of weeks, to see if they move it up again.

Color me befuddled!! SMH …not mad, just a little shell shocked.

Well…if there are any significant changes to the 2022’s and my order is that close to them starting production on the MY22’s…might switch it up to a 2022, considering the delivery date won’t be much different with it being built that late in 2021! Guess I’ll have to wait & see. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Had you ever looked up your VIN on the Ford Order Tracking site? If so, what do it say and what was the blend date on your window sticker?

if you have a vin already your getting a 21. if you dont have a vin by sept 15th then you can convert it into a my22

my understanding is that those orders will have to be resubmitted.
