Besides the looks, the rubber is actually pretty thick and should hold up. It has spacers underneath for more cushin' for the pushin' too.....fits like a glove

Ordered it at local dealer, had it the next day. Might check ebay also for a better price.

My local dealer has them in stock and the price is $96.43. I'm picking one up later today.

If you order through accessories.ford.com it will show you the Ford dealers in your area and let you choose one to pickup the item.

I did get the LineX with the Premium UV coating. One thing to consider, some LineX dealers will NOT take off tailgate liner and spray underneath and around it. The one I went to which a local Ford dealer recommended, did the tailgate too. I am very happy with it. My buddy had his done at another LineX guy and they would not do the tailgate, so I recommend verifying that they will do it.

BTW, The main reason I got the mat is sometime in the past 4 months and AFTER I had it sprayed, I found two dents in my bed floor that I have no idea how they got there. I am kinda pissed because the only thing I have had back there are ATV Ramps and I did not throw them back there. I would hate to see how they dent when you beat on them. That is why I got the mat which happened to look sweet.

Cheers

So you had them Line-X the tailgate and then put the liner back on? Any fitment issues?

That line-x install and bed mat looks great! Thanks for the tip on the line-x on the tailgate. I'm probably going to do just the bed mat until the spring, line-x and a Thule 422XT Xsporter for the mountain bikes in the spring.

Thanks...they take the plastic tailgate liner off and spray underneath while avoiding the moving parts of the tailgate step and also the exposed parts of the tailgate all the way to the bottom. The factory plastic liner fits fine when they reattach it. Some LineX dealers, as stated earlier, will not do it due to the hassle of the moving parts underneath.

Nice looks great. i'am just thinking about getting a regular tail gate panel from a wrecker and getting rid of the stripper pole before i line x.

I wish I would've taken off the plastic and stripper pole before line-x. I never use the thing anyway. That mat is nice, I just wonder how it would hold in in ice/snow.

Ford should add that as two separate options in the build tool on their website.

1) Add tailgate step.
2) Add stripper pole for tailgate step.

This'd be funnier with a Photoshop job, but I'm lacking motivation this morning.

I've had a bed mat on top of a rhino spray-in liner in my Tundra for the past 12 years on the Colorado front range. The bed mat stays in the bed with no problems. If you're talking about cargo sliding around on snow / ice in the bed, that's going to happen no matter what is under the snow / ice.

The mat looks nice but if it rains and it gets wet under the mat and it does not dry properly/quickly, then you may get mold/mildew.

Good point although there are knobby thingamajiggers under it so it does have some breathing room, but I will keep an eye on it
