For those of you mounting the heads in the sunglass holder area, how are you mounting the head in there? Glue? Screws of some kind? What holds the head in the sunglass holder tray?

For those of you mounting the heads in the sunglass holder area, how are you mounting the head in there? Glue? Screws of some kind? What holds the head in the sunglass holder tray?

For me I use 3M double sided tape, the dense foam, dark gray with red tape kind. I have tried several over the years and the 3M seems to hold up to the desert heat the best for me. I had to remove the rubber/silicon insert in the sunglass holder to get the tape to stick.

Is that 3M tape VHB? VHB would for sure be the best route in my mind due to how it fills into all the little porous areas.

Yes, it is a VHB, but which specific one I use I am not sure. Possibly 4611 or 5925. I have also used Scotch Extreme Mounting Tape.
