Instead of lowering the rear, what many many Raptor owners do is raise the front perch to the middle setting. This gives the Raptor a level stance and I've also read the Fox shocks are designed to work better in that configuration. They say that was the original intention from the engineers, but they had to lower the front perch to meet bumper height regulations because of airbag activation. (on the other cars) The adjustment costs under $200 if you have it done, then you will need to do an alignment afterwards, from what I'm told all new Ford owners are entitled to one free alignment. Do a thread search on "middle perch" or a google search on "raptor middle perch" and you will get lots of info.
I loved your story, I'm seeing myself in your shoes in about 6 weeks, I ordered my truck on Dec 14 from a dealership about 3 hours away.

I can't raise the truck. I live in Chicago and need to be able to put the truck in my garage. I am putting a Lakeland topper on and will see where the height is. If it is to tall it will need to be lowered to level. I also need to change the antenna. I had to rip the drywall and studs off the wall in the garage so it would fit length wise.

I will say that the dealer I purchased from made it worth while to fly out and pick it up. I contacted 3 ford dealer near me when I began my search. None could put there hand on one and they weren't going to discount the truck if they brought one in from another dealer. It to bad because I wanted to support local business and I also wanted the lifetime power trane warranty that they offered. Owe well. I have my truck and it was exactly the way I was going to order it and I didn't have to wait. When I want something I want it now especially how awesome the raptor is.

I love the remote start and having the windows defrosted and the seats warm when I leave the house. We have a cold winter and the raptor makes it seem a lot easier to deal with. I drove it in the snow yesterday there was a good 4 to 5 inches and it sure seemed like there wasn't any. The truck stopped really well and accelerated even better. I have had many cars and trucks from porsche cayenne turbos to VW touaregs silverado 4x4s Mercedes and lots more. This truck is extremely comfortable and luxurios. The Bluetooth works amazing and so does the navigation. I love the options to view the weather on the nav screen too. Ford did a great job with this truck hopefully it continues to impress me.

How much clearance do you currently have? The front perch adjustment doesn't raise the whole truck, jut the front end about an inch.

The extended warranty can be used at any Ford dealership in North America, at least that what I was told.
