Today’s Adventure found us exploring a couple more unnamed coves at Lake Mead NRA that were created with the constantly dropping water level. A Kayak launch point that my wife and I used just 13 months ago was now dry desert :confused::mad::shakehead:0BFCACBF-E687-48F6-B4F8-7B164A888FC3.jpegCF1873F6-1983-4C03-82E7-7D97EBE43F42.jpeg3E5CE3C2-D942-4492-9FCE-38281345C9E1.jpegF9C3795E-0428-4AA2-8CA2-D04FEFE50634.jpeg4E3720CF-4D4C-4491-95DE-38CB8DF2BC5E.jpeg

I was waiting for the pic of your Raptor mid-air as you tried jumping to the other side of the lake!
Haaa haaa my Forerunner owning friend was with me. He was thoroughly impressed with the Raptors capabilities. We were running some very soft trails, gravel and sand that looked intimidating but we cruised right thruuuuu. He said he wouldn’t be taking his Toyota out there, fear of getting stuck/lost. I really like the TRD PRO Forerunner though, very capable ride. We started to slide down this soft pea-gravel shoulder about a hundred feet up on this narrow shelf (pucker factor) he reached for the chicken handle with a worried look. I engaged the Trail Control and set it to 3mph, crawled right back up on the road. :)

I like the looks of the TRD Pro in Purple with the roof rack, just seemed like a lack of power though, I ended up with a Jeep, lol, even less power but more useful.
