woot another kansasan, Ill tell you right now to go to Louisburg Ford in Louisburg Kansas, it like 20miles south of KC and they give $50 over invoice on all vehicles, thats where I got mine, if you want some contact info I can give you the info of my sales guy (refered alot of raptor buyers to him) just shoot me a PM

what is the purpose of sites like nada and kbb if their info for the buyer isnt valued by the dealerships?

Almost every dealership uses blackbook, not KBB or nada. Those just give you an idea. you can buy a black book account for $200 per year.

U need to understand that if u are buying at wholesale (invoice) ur trade will be priced off of wholesale. It is a number game and u will not have any trouble selling a well taken care of ranger since they are done and not available anymore so I recommend putting on local classifieds etc and then hit up ur local dealers and tell them u have no trade and u want to buy at 300 500 or whatever u feel is good for u.

Try CarMax, it has helped me in the past with trade ins. Sometimes the dealer will beat that pricing for your business or match it at the very least. Just to let you know carmax doesn't go off KBB they reference it from time to time but they go off there own market.

Definitely check out Louisburg Ford, very easy to deal with. Got my 2010 there, no hassle. I showed up and ask about taking the only one on the lot for a test drive they just tossed me the keys and said its got have a tank of gas, have fun!

ordered mine thru local dealership. they matched the offers from 2 others. i was really lucky in that i had 3 offers just over invoice from 3 different dealers within 80 miles. just need to keep my ranger intact til it gets here.
