So here’s my problem…
Originally ordered a 2022 37 in Jan 2022. In August I got an email stating due to all the b.s. they have to change my order to a ‘23.
My dealer called me two days ago saying my truck is here. 2023 Iconic Silver 37 package - black interior. I was very happy until going over the window sticker, noticed the heated steering wheel was missing. It really pissed me off, if I’m paying 90k for a truck it better have want I want not what I’d settle for. We live in North Jersey and this time of year that heated steering wheel is a big plus. Maybe I’m being a little too much but I can’t get over the fact that my 2019 Wrangler that will almost burn my hands has that option and the Raptor doesn’t.
I’m putting in another order, don’t mind the wait….again rather have what I want not what I settled for.
If anyone wants to make a deal please send me a message let’s talk. I may drive it for a week or you can pick it up from the dealer depends on price. Not looking to screw anyone….just something fair

Peace ✌️

Quick fyi, most with 2023 orders in have been aware of this delete. It has been in effect since the start of the 2023 model year with no end date. Your dealer should have let you know a couple months ago…..
I agree, my dealer should have let me know about this and should have sent me the VIN or window sticker….I never received any updates from Ford other than the occasional supply chain delays are causing yada yada….

I agree that Ford made a bad call on pulling the heated steering wheel while they continue to install them on lower priced vehicles. Use remote start from the Ford app, and wear a nice pair of driving gloves and you're good to go.

I usually turn off the heated wheel and seat after a few minutes anyway. But it's your choice. Unless you're paying cash, financing is getting more expensive while you wait for another build that may have other negative changes. Good luck!

I totally agree and understand. And it’s a hard call whether to accept the truck. But it’s a beautiful 37. 99.9% complete. Buy the warm gloves and never look back. Try and squeeze the dealer for a few free oil changes or something. Have fun.

If I didnt have heated seats or steering wheel id loose my shit IF I didnt know it was gonna be taken away. Dealer should of made you aware that was happening and you should of been able to cancel the deal if you wanted... just saying..

Not trying to be funny (probably a lie), but can ford just install a heated steering wheel? Or does the VIN show that it does or does not have a heated steering wheel?

Does the VIN tell all even the deep detailed options?
