My 2019 Raptor Shelby Baja Quick Impression!

I think the notion that the Shelby Baja Raptors are going to retain their value better than stock trucks with mods is pretty far off. The markup on those parts you are paying to begin with seems about double if not more just doing some fuzzy math. Also, seems like they took a step backwards by using the Fox Live shocks for the 2019 Shelby Raptor instead of the Fox 3.0 Stage 2 ones they used in last year's Shelby Raptors. My .02.

I believe the front camera is stock location which is blocked by the bumper (add honey badger with shelby badging), if that is the case a bit and for the price

Also for some reason I was under the impression the Shelby raptors came with the fox 3.0 race series shocks. So they just have the stock suspension?

I have a 17 Shelby, it has the high end Fox shocks, not stock. if 19 is using stockers then should lower price

Unfortunately not lol,,i did looked at the Option List tho it stated they did a Shelby lift,,whatever that means,,maybe someone can chime in here?

Yeah that would be kind of lame! Maybe they didn’t want to mess with the live valve Ecu but that’s definitely a downgrade from the previous years Fox 3.0 race series if that is actually the case.

Some people I talked to stated it's an upgrade lol oh well truck drive very good either way!

I love my 18 wouldn’t trade it for a 19 any day. The 3.0 race shocks are far superior. I added HD Tie rods, UCA, Deaver+3HD, SVC bump stops with fox 2.5, and svc track bars.

The truck rides amazing. Even the front end stiffened up. No more wheel hop in the rear.

Anyone who has a a shelby take a look at that 4” block under your leafs...
